“For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:” – Colossians 1:16 (KJV)

There is something to learn about Jesus Christ every day. Remember that Jesus Christ is God and His eternal nature is infinite; thus, we can never finish knowing everything about Him.

The opening scripture reveals something unique about Jesus Christ. First, He created all things in heaven and on the earth: visible and invisible things, such as thrones, dominions, rulers, and authorities.

Second, all things were created by Him and for Him. In other words, everything in the universe was created by Jesus Christ, and everything must give an account to Him (2 Corinthians 5:10).

Dear beloved, this knowledge about Jesus Christ should propel you to celebrate Him every day because in Him you can also have access to all the things He has created and exercise dominion over all things.

Remember that Jesus Christ existed as the Word of God before His incarnation, so it is easy to understand the opening chapter (John 1:14). Allow the Holy Spirit to lead you to use the Word of God and the name of Jesus Christ to reign in every area of your life to the glory of God.
