“For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” Psalms 30:5 (KJV)

For the past year and few months, Covid has given great job for scientist to discover vaccine and today the heroes are Johnson and Johnson, Pfizer, BioNTech, Novavax Inc, and other 12 companies in the world. This companies so far, have given the world happiness and joy. God has a good character, which every child of His should learn from. He gets angry but just for a moment. No wonder He said we should be angry, but we should not sin or let the sun go down on our anger (Ephesians 4:26–27).

Beloved, you might have found yourself in a mess with your relationship with God and thought God was angry with you and had given up on you. Yes, He is angry, but once you have confessed your sins, He is faithful and just, to forgive you and shower His favor on you (1 John 1:9).

Beloved, perhaps you are going through pains, trials, challenges, and disappointments; you feel like giving up. Do not give up yet. Your joy is about to appear. The opening Scripture acknowledges that there is a time to weep; it also gives us the assurance that the moment of joy comes in the morning.

Be encouraged that, after going through the tough times, your moment of joy will come, when you will not remember your night of weeping. God is a promise keeper, and He will not put you to shame. Learn also from the story of Joseph and Job and be encouraged that your moment of joy and laughter is about to come. Hallelujah! God bless you!

Prayer Point: My loving Father, I’m grateful to You for the Word of exhortation. Indeed, my time of joy is about to come; therefore, I refuse to complain and murmur. Rather, I praise You and bless You even during my pain, challenges, and trials, till I embrace my joy and blessings in Jesus’ name. Amen!
