“Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.” Matthew 5:11 (KJV)

The Kingdom of God is full of countless blessings for the children of God. The philosophy of the world says that you are blessed when everything is going well for you and all your heart’s desires are met.

Immediately a person begins to go through persecutions, the feeling that the person is under a curse is not absent. However, in the Kingdom of God, when you suffer persecution, false accusations, and all manner of opposition for Christ’s sake, you are blessed. You are not only blessed when you are free from trouble.

Dear beloved, the opening scripture should encourage you to still live for Christ even in the midst of challenges and opposition. In this period of COVD-19, many are using the media to attack the authenticity of Christianity and the authority of church leaders.

Because you are blessed for Christ’s sake, the challenges and persecutions will give way to your miracle, and you will testify that indeed the Lord is good, and His mercies endure forever (Psalm 136:1). Hallelujah! God bless you!

Prayer Point: Dear heavenly Father, thank you for turning my persecutions and challenges into blessings. Amen!
