“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.” – John 15:16 (KJV)
Ignorance of the Word of God could deny you many opportunities and blessings since the Word of God has answers to all life’s questions. Some children of God don’t take enough time to search the Holy Scriptures for answers. They consult other media for answers that don’t give lasting solutions. Coming across the opening scripture should stir up joy in you because you have come to the knowledge that you have been chosen for a purpose.
Dear beloved, the reason why you have been chosen has been clearly defined. You have been chosen and ordained to bear fruit. There is something wonderful about bearing fruit for Christ Jesus; whatever you ask the Father will be granted by Him. This calls for celebration because once you are bearing fruit for Him, you will never lack any good thing in life. The fruit are twofold: the fruit of the Spirit and winning souls (Galatians 5:22–23, Matthew 28:19–20).
Beloved, as long as you keep bearing fruit and making sure the souls remain in Christ by praying for them, teaching them, and ministering to their needs, God will be prompt in fulfilling your requests because He knows others are dependent on you. Keep bearing fruit, and your life will be a testimony. Hallelujah! God bless you!
Prayer Point: Dear heavenly Father, thank you for showing me the secret to receiving much more blessings from you. I have made up my mind to bear fruit for you and keep bearing fruit for you. Please give me more grace in times of difficulties to keep bearing fruit for you, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
