“Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” – Matthew 18:18 (KJV)

Knowing that you are the one in control is the beginning of having dominion on earth. When you become born again, God gives you the power to be in control of your life (John 1:14). The opening scripture is a confirmation that the child of God has been given the power to make things happen. It says whatever you permit is what heaven will endorse, and whatever you don’t permit is what heaven will endorse.

Beloved, after you have come to the knowledge of this truth, what must you do? Are you going to allow failure, weakness, disappointment, and all the negative things in life to crash in on you? Certainly not! It is time for you to arm yourself with the Word of prayer and confession to call forth goodness, success, wealth, progress, and healing. Also, use your power of choice to make godly choices that will yield godly fruits.

Beloved, remember that you are now in charge, so never blame anyone for what you allow into your life. Use your power to get rid of what you don’t like and call forth what you desire in His Word and it will be done for you (Mark 11:23–24). Praise the Lord! You are an overcomer!

Prayer Point: My dear Lord Jesus, I’m so grateful for Your Word. Indeed, the entrance of Your Word in my heart has given me light. I now have the power to change what I don’t like in my life and allow only what I desire to come into my life.

I put Your Word to work and call forth divine health, prosperity, wealth, success, joy, favor, and peace into my life. Amen!
