”And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,” – Ephesians 1:22 (KJV)

Knowing that you are in control is the beginning of making your Christian life a victorious one. The opening Scripture gives the children of God the key to be in control of their life and their sphere of contact.

Beloved, it tells us that all things have been put under the feet of Jesus Christ and He has been made the head of all things to the church. This should make us burst into praise and rejoicing. Why? This is because He did all these for the church. In other words, He has given the church dominion over all things and we are the church.

Beloved, if you are born again, you are a child of God and a member of the church (Ephesians 5:29–30). Thus, you have been given dominion over all things. God wants to see you in control of your life and your sphere of contact.

Don’t allow circumstances, challenges, sickness, unemployment, etc. change you or defeat you. Use your authority and the name of Jesus Christ to bring such opposing situations under your feet.

Remember that God is counting on you to reign because He has given you an abundance of grace and the gift of righteousness (Romans 5:17). Be in control and reign in life! Hallelujah!

Prayer Point: My dear heavenly Father, I bless and praise You for exalting Jesus Christ and putting all things under His feet for the church. As a member of the body of Christ, I use the authority that You have vested in me to take dominion over the earth, including its elements, and the kingdom of darkness; making Your name manifest in everything I do for the world, to see my good works and give glory to you in Jesus’ name. Amen!
