“Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:” – Colossians 1:13 (KJV)

Knowing that you have been delivered from the power of darkness is the beginning of gaining dominance over the devil and his cohorts of darkness. Beloved, the Holy Scriptures are the light of God that gives us divine knowledge and insight (Psalms 119:105).

When you become born again, you are delivered from the power of darkness into the kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ. This is the knowledge you need to fight the lies of the enemy, who wants you to believe that you need other kinds of deliverance before you can be free. You are delivered from generational curses, diseases in your bloodline, and all forms of demonic oppression.

Beloved, use the above scripture to pray and have dominion over the works of the enemy in your life. You are free—therefore, continue to enjoy your freedom in Christ (John 8:36). Beloved, be a student of the Word of God and never allow the enemy to deceive you, and you will continually reign over the enemy because he is under your feet (Luke 10:19). Praise the Lord! You are an overcomer!

Prayer Point: Dear heavenly Father, thank You for delivering me from the power of darkness, and have translated me into the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. Thus, I’m free spiritually, physically, emotionally, etc. I use this freedom to my advantage to gain dominance over any opposition from the enemy.

I pray for my brethren all over the world to come to this knowledge and put the devil and his cohorts of darkness where they belong, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
