“And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him, and said unto him, The Lord is with thee, thou mighty man of valour.” Judges 6:12 (KJV)

Knowing who you are is the beginning of your greatness. In the Kingdom of God, there is no excuse for ignorance, because the Word of God has been made available in all formats for our acquisition and enjoyment. Ignorance of the Word of God is expensive and can mean your destruction (Hosea 4:6). It nearly stole the blessings of God in Gideon’s life till he realized that he was truly a man of valor after an encounter with God.

Dear beloved, Gideon has gone to be with the Lord, but the opening scripture is still relevant today. Just replace Gideon’s name with your own name, and the Spirit of God will speak to you. This is what you must do anytime you are studying the Holy Scriptures; put your name in there and claim the blessing for yourself. You are a man or woman of valor, so don’t succumb to failure, diseases, disappointments, etc. Rise above them and fight them in prayer, using the Word of God, and you will win (Philippians 4:6).

Hallelujah! You are an overcomer!

Prayer Point: Thank you, Lord, for making me person of valor.
