“In the Lord put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?” Psalm 11:1 (KJV)
The children of God are the hope of God on Earth. Through His children, He is able to propagate godliness on this earth so that the earth will not be overwhelmed with sin and wickedness (Genesis 6:5–6). God, being so good, has a way of training His children to equip them to fulfill His purpose for creating the earth.
Remember that He has given the earth to His children as an inheritance, but to be able to use the earth according to His will, they must be trained and equipped to do that (Psalm 115:16). Thus, trials, afflictions, tests, temptation, etc., are part of the training process to bring out the best in us (James 1:2–4).
Looking at the text for today, the writer confesses his trust in the lord hence, refused to run to the place of safety, but rather remain in the battle field till victory comes. Therefore, as a child of God, when problems or challenges come your way, don’t run away from them. Trust God to help you deal with them so that you can have a testimony to share and praise God with.
Remember that we are more than conquerors, and we will always win when we pray and trust God’s intervention (Romans 8:37).
Hallelujah! Be an overcomer!
We will always win when we pray and trust God’s intervention.
Amen
