“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” – Revelation 4:11 (KJV)

One most effective weapon in prayer is praise offered unto the almighty God by believers. God Almighty is indeed worthy to receive glory, honor, and power. The reason is clear in the opening scripture: He created all things, and they exist for His pleasure. If the seraphim and cherubim, twenty-four elders in heaven, and angelic beings praise God and give Him glory, then we cannot be left out (Psalm 150:6).

Leaving yourself out of praising and not doing things to glorify God is leaving yourself out of the blessing. Any time we praise and glorify His name, He blesses us. Some of the blessings include wisdom, understanding, empowerment, favor, etc.

Dear Christians, God deserves your praise. The life you are enjoying is from Him (John 1:4). He gave you the money, house, car, spouse, children, good health, etc. There are some things that He does for us without our asking, so if you wake up and become conscious of your life, give Him the glory. Praise Him for everything.

When we develop a lifestyle of praising Him, there will be no blessing too big for us to qualify for. Hallelujah! Praise God!

Prayer Point: Dear heavenly Father, thank you for your insightful Word. I’m determined to develop a lifestyle of praising you and will give you all the glory for everything you do for me and for the grace to function on this earth. Please help my determination come to pass, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
