“And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.” – Romans 8:17 (KJV)

An heir is a person legally entitled to the property or rank of another upon that person’s death. It is also a person who inherits and continues the work of a predecessor. Some people have more pride in temporal or earthly heirship than the divine one. They prefer to boast about being an heir to their family throne, kingdom, parents, or a rich and powerful human personality.

Dear beloved, if you are a born again Christian, you are an heir of God and joint-heir with Christ. You are entitled to inherit the work of Christ and continue therein, so be a soul winner. Being an heir of God qualifies you to everything that God has. Thus declare and boast in the Lord about your divine heirship rather than any earthly heirship.

Go ahead and claim what you desire from God, and it shall be given to you (John 14:13–14). Stop living like a slave, and live like the king that God has made you. Then there will be no end to your promotions, victories, and blessings in Christ (Revelation 1:6). Hallelujah! God bless you!
