“The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.” Psalm 19:7–8 (KJV)

Knowing the value of the Word of God puts you in the position of blessing. It is important to know that you can be at a place of blessing but might not be blessed. To actualize your blessing, you must put the Word of God to work. In other words, you must use it continually to obtain the blessings thereof.

The psalmist, in using the Word of God, found out that the Word is perfect and that it restores and refreshes the soul; it is reliable and trustworthy, making wise the simple; it is right, bringing joy to the heart; it is pure, enlightening the eyes. The Holy Scriptures are full of unlimited blessings for the children of God.

Dear beloved, prize the Holy Scriptures above everything else. Meditate on them day and night, and observe to do them. Then you will enjoy all the blessings therein (Psalm 1:2–3).

Hallelujah! Use the Word!
