“Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.” – 2 Thessalonians 1:11–12 (KJV)
Everybody needs somebody. We were created to be each other’s keeper, but sin entered into the life of mankind to create selfishness, greed, and pride. Thus we are not able to care for people the way we ought to. The gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ is the cure for selfishness, greed, and pride (Romans 1:16–17).
Apostle Paul agreed with his colleagues to pray for the church in Thessalonica that God would count them worthy of His calling and, with His power, would fulfill all His good desires and complete every work He had started in them.
Dear beloved, I also agree with Apostle Paul’s prayer and pray for you that you will be counted worthy of God’s calling and every work of faith began in you will be completed before you leave this earth, in Jesus’ name, amen! Hallelujah
Prayer Point: Dear Heavenly Father, I appreciate your calling and the good work you have started in me. I also pray for the brethren that we all will live to see and enjoy the completion of this good work. Amen!
