“For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;” – Colossians 1:9–10 (KJV)

As the month begins today and the world is battling with the invisible enemy of our time scientifically, I believe prayer must be approached vigorously.

Prayer is communion with our heavenly Father. In other words, it is the medium through which we share our thoughts, intents, plans, etc., with our heavenly Father in fellowship. Praying is so important that Jesus Christ said we ought to pray always and never give up on it (Luke 18:1).

Dear beloved, in as much as Apostle Paul devoted his time to pray for his converts, we also pray for you that God fills you with the knowledge of His will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives.

So that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened to have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father for qualifying you to share in the inheritance of His holy people in the kingdom of light, amen.

Beloved, you deserve to be prayed for because you have followed this devotional till now, reading it and sharing it with your family and friends. May God richly bless you and your entire household, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
