“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:” – Philippians 1:6 (KJV)
Waiting for God to complete the good work He has started in your life is a mark of maturity. Apostle Paul, in his walk with the Lord, came to a point where he knew that when God begins a good work in you, He will bring it to perfect completion. He used this divine knowledge to encourage the church in Philippi to be steadfast in their faith and relationship with God.
Beloved, when you become born again God begins a good work in your life (John 1:14). Now it is up to you to identify the good work in your life, acknowledge it, and praise God for it. For some, the good work He has started is the gift of good counsel; identify it and begin to use it to the praise of His name so that He can perfect you in that area.
Dear beloved, have you identified the good work God is doing in your life? Examine your life and you will find it. Remember that you have the Holy Spirit in you to help you find it (John 14:16). Thus, cooperate with Him and He will teach you how to use your gifts, talents, time, and all the resources you have at your disposal to complete the good work in your life. Hallelujah! Glory to God!
Prayer Point: My dear Father, thank You for the good work You have begun in me. Please open my eyes to see the good work You are doing in my life and cooperate with You till it is completed for me to enjoy as well as all who are dependent on me in Jesus’ name. Amen!
