“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.” – 1 John 1:9–10 (KJV)

Our heavenly Father is faithfulness personified. In other words, God is the first to be considered if you want to look for a truly faithful person. God is not far from our reach; if you want to see Him, look at Jesus Christ and follow Him attentively.

Jesus Christ was truly faithful to the Father, even unto death. No wonder that in the Garden of Gethsemane, He submitted His will to His Father’s will(Matthew 26:36–42).

Dear beloved, have you tried God’s faithfulness? The opening scripture doesn’t mince words; God is truly faithful to forgive us when we sin or go wrong. He only judges and punishes the unrepentant sinner.

Beloved, don’t be an unrepentant sinner like the devil when you sin against God by breaking His Word or commandments.

Go before Him in humility, and feel repentant for your sin; confess it, and He will forgive you and give you more grace to do better. Hallelujah!

Remember that sin destroys but righteousness promotes (Proverbs 14:34). God bless you!

Prayer Point: Dear heavenly Father, thank you for the knowledge of your Word. Please forgive me for I have sinned against you and against my brethren. Thank you for pardoning my sin, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
