“He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.” – Psalm 103:7 (KJV)

Yahweh is really a divine strategist, and He does not treat every child of His the same. Likewise, leaders and followers, the LORD does not treat them alike either. He shows His leaders His ways and shows His followers His acts.

Leadership is a place of maturity, where God trains and equips a human vessel to influence people to achieve a particular course of action. Thus, God gives the leader a vision then they intend explain it to the followers and motivates them to achieve it. Just like in the life of Moses and the children of Israel, God made known His ways to Moses and His acts to the children of Israel. The ways He shows His leader is the bigger picture of His law, operations, and directions.

The children of Israel, as followers, were only interested in God meeting their needs rather than knowing God personally through His law, so they were shown His mighty acts, such as water gushing out of a rock, manna from heaven, receiving a supply of quails, and the parting of the Red Sea. Moses, on the other hand, drew closer to God to receive the Ten Commandments, dared Pharaoh to release the Israelites, raised the rod to part the Red Sea, and drew closer to see the back of God (Exodus 14:15–31, 20:1–26).

Dear beloved, do you want to be a leader for God? Then be mindful to know the ways of God more than His acts, through the Holy Scriptures. As a leader, remain in absolute obedience to Him without complaining, and you will succeed like our Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah! You are an overcomer!

Prayer Point: Dear heavenly Father, I’m so grateful for your Word. I desire to be a leader you can trust. Please train me and equip me to influence and lead those you have appointed for me to lead with success, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
