“When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.” – 2 Thessalonians 1:10 (KJV)

The second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ has come under severe criticism, just as His first coming did. Most of the Jews missed His first coming because they thought Jesus Christ was going to overthrow the Roman government and institute His own government. The way Jesus Christ died on the cross even increased their unbelief, but His resurrection and ascension changed some of their entrenched views about His first coming.

Brethren, it is not surprising that today some people will mock His second coming. It is true that Jesus Christ has tarried in His second coming, but this is not an accident. Our heavenly Father is so full of love that He does not want anyone to perish but to come to the knowledge of His salvation (2 Peter 3:9).

Dear beloved, please do not join the “doubting Thomas” group and miss His second coming. He is glorified in the saints who believe in His second coming and blesses them with testimonies.

Beloved, do not miss these blessings because of unbelief. If He came the first time, you can be sure that it is easy for Him to come a second time for those who are ready. Hallelujah! Be ready!

Prayer Point: Dear heavenly Father, thank you for your love for the saints and humanity. Please stir my spirit up to always be ready for the second coming of Jesus Christ. Amen!
