“And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” – Ephesians 4:32 (KJV)
Choosing a particular lifestyle has an impact on other people for either good or evil. As a child of God, it is vital to choose the lifestyle that has been laid down for us by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We must remember that the moment we become born again, we no longer own ourselves. We belong to Christ. Thus, we must know His voice and follow Him as the good shepherd (John 10:27). As a good shepherd, He is kind, tenderhearted, and forgiving; therefore, He wants us to imitate Him (Ephesians 5:1–2).
Dear beloved, what lifestyle have you chosen? If you have chosen a lifestyle of kindness, tenderheartedness, and forgiveness, then you are on course. Seeking the welfare of other people, ministering to their needs, having compassion on the hurtful, and easily forgiving others their wrongs are acts of kindness and tenderheartedness.
Beloved, if you have found yourself doing something else other than what the opening scripture has said, then you have chosen the wrong lifestyle. Kindly make a U-turn and walk on the right path so that you can sow good seeds for others to be blessed. Remember that when others are blessed through you, then you have become God’s channel of blessings, and blessings will never run out of your life. Hallelujah! God bless you!
Prayer Point: Dear loving Father, thank you for choosing a wonderful lifestyle for me. I’m ready to walk on this path even if others repay me with evil. Please give me more grace to continually be kind, tenderhearted, and forgiving, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
