“Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:” 1 Timothy 1:5 (KJV)

Acting on God’s commandments brings liberty to every area of our lives. Jesus Christ asked ten lepers to go and show themselves to the priests, and they acted on this command. Now, while they went to show themselves to the priests, they were healed from their leprosy (Luke 17:12–14). Any time God asks us to do something for Him or for others, He is looking forward to producing love, a good conscience, and sincere faith in us. He is always working in us to bring out the best in us (Philippians 2:13). After He has finished the good work in us, He brings us into the limelight for everyone to see as you glorify Him.

Dear beloved, don’t frown on God’s commandments or instructions. Submitting to them is for our own good so that we can attain the nature of Christ, having a pure heart to love people, a good conscience to judge, and sincere faith to get things done. Hallelujah! Be an overcomer!

Prayer Point: Dear heavenly Father, I have made up my mind to do all that you ask me to do. Let me never be ashamed of your commandments. Amen!
