“For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.” – 1 Corinthians 1:11 (KJV)

The church is the body of Christ. The universal church comprises all believers in Christ Jesus all over the world. However, every Christian or believer is mandated to be part of a local church or assembly (Hebrews 10:25). The church is the light of the world, without which the world would live in the total darkness of sin and wickedness (Matthew 5:14–16).

The local church has the primary responsibility of nurturing her members with the Word of God, training them, and creating an atmosphere for members to use their spiritual gifts, win souls, know the will of God, and be a blessing to the church and the world at large (Ephesians 4:11–16).

It is necessary for every member to play their role to see the progress of the church. Thus, every member needs to be concerned about the wellbeing of the church.

Dear beloved, learn from the household of Chloe, and feed the leaders of the church with information that will make the church play her vital role excellently. Quarrels, factions, immoral behavior, etc., should not be overlooked. When the leaders become aware of the problems in the church, they will deliberate over them and resolve them by the grace of God, and the church will keep seeing progress, success, and peace. Hallelujah! God bless you!
