“Then Joseph her husband, being a just man, and not willing to make her a public example, was minded putting her away privily. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.” – Matthew 1:19–20 (KJV)

Learning to submit to God’s will brings tremendous blessings to us and others. The story of the conception of Jesus Christ has lots of lessons to teach us. God found a just man called Joseph to be the adoptive father of Jesus Christ. He also found a humble virgin called Mary to carry Jesus for nine months in her womb. However, Joseph wanted to reject Mary because she was pregnant, thinking that she had committed fornication with another man.

After God revealed Himself to Joseph in a dream, he submitted to the will of God and accepted Mary as his wife. Through his submission to God’s will, Jesus Christ had an adoptive father to nurture and raise Him to fulfill the will of God (Luke 2:52).

Dear beloved, never struggle with the will of God. The moment you discover the will of God for your life, set your own will aside and pursue God’s will with your whole heart. Then your life will be a testimony even from generation to generation.

Hallelujah! Be An Overcomer!
