“Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted: But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.” James 1:9–10 (KJV)
There is a guarantee for exaltation for a Christian who is humble in the Lord. God always gives grace to the humble and resists the proud (1 Peter 5:5). Thus, as a Christian, if you want to enjoy lots of promotions from the LORD, you always need to remain humble. Rejoice in the Lord when you are promoted and be mindful to let humility be part and parcel of you. God is not against riches, but He is against allowing riches to get into our heads and to make us proud.
Dear beloved, it is very important to always check yourself when the Lord makes you rich and puts you in a high position because power and riches can influence your character; they can make you proud, and you will begin to fall. Beloved, rejoice in the Lord in whatever state you find yourself; remain humble, and God will help you to stand the test of time (Philippians 4:4). Hallelujah!
Prayer Point: Dear heavenly Father, thank you for showing the way. I always promise to remain humble and devoted to you. Amen!
Father lord please help me to stay humble always in you. Amen
In Jesus name, Amen.
