“Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all.” – 1Ti 4:15 KJV

Paul, teaching Timothy about how to become profitable in the ministry instructs him in the above to give himself wholly to the ministry. Glory to God! This is how to become profitable in the things of God! When we give ourselves completely and wholly to the ministry, our impact becomes obvious.

God wants us to be fruitful in the ministry. Jesus said, “Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you” (Joh 15:16). We were chosen to go and produce lasting fruits, impact, and results. We must be profitable.

God does not delight in unprofitability. In the parable of the stewards, the unprofitable servant was cast into outer darkness where there’s torment. Matthew 25:30 records; “And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

We must be profitable. Our ministry in the local church must yield great results. Our cells must grow. Our impact must be huge. Our profiting must appear to all. And to do, we must give ourselves WHOLLY to the ministry.

Serving half-heartedly cannot produce great results. We must give ourselves completely. Be absolutely involved in the ministry. Give it your whole time, money, might, everything! Don’t be partly involved.

Give yourself wholly! When you do, you’ll notice that you’ll begin to produce greater and lasting fruits in what God has committed to you. Hallelujah!

Dear Lord, I thank you for instructing me in righteousness. I give myself completely to the ministry you’ve committed to me. I surrender all. I withhold nothing! I give myself wholly in Jesus’
