“No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.” – 1 John 4:12 (KJV)

The only man who has seen the totality of God is Jesus Christ of Nazareth. God decided not to show Himself to mankind because of Adamic sin. However, we can see Him through showing unconditional love for one another, especially the household of faith.

It is easy for a Christian to love people because the love of God has been put in them (Romans 5:5). The one thing we need to do is to cultivate it by focusing on Jesus Christ and allowing the Holy Spirit to lead us to live the life of Christ in our families, society, place of work, and nation as a whole.

The pressure in the world accounts for the lack of showing love to one another as Christians. There is mistrust due to lawlessness, mischief, theft, deception, armed robbery, rape, etc., and the love of many Christians has grown cold (Matthew 24:12).

Dear beloved, amid the darkness of sin and wickedness, God still shows love to all mankind so we Christians can still love one another and other people in our society.

One thing you must bear in mind is to show love with wisdom and beware that some people can take advantage of your kindness to harm you. Allow the Holy Spirit to lead you to the right people to show love to, and you will never regret it but will continue to live a lifestyle of love.

Prayer Point: Dear heavenly Father, thank you for depositing love inside my heart. Please lead me to live a lifestyle of loving people and being kind to them, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
