The misleading information in our world today as far as the Covid-19 and other related issue in our world, has brought confusion to the world where by politicians, scientists and economists are not able to comprehend.

Thomas Schaefer, the finance minister of Germany’s Hesse state, has committed suicide apparently after becoming “deeply worried” over how to cope with the economic fallout from the coronavirus. Schaefer, 54, was found dead near a railway track on Saturday March 29, 2020. The Wiesbaden prosecution’s office said they believe he died by suicide. Hesse is home to Germany’s financial capital Frankfurt, where major lenders like Deutsche Bank and Commerzbank have their headquarters. The European Central Bank is also located in Frankfurt. Schaefer was Hesse’s finance chief for 10 years, had been working “day and night” to help companies and workers deal with the economic impact of the pandemic.

My reason is what cause the “deep worry” leading to suicide? A lawyer and politician, belong to the ruling party, Christian Democratic Union of Germany. What information was he receiving from the economists and the scientist concerning the pandemic? What mind did he built amid the pandemic? Has he ever come by the text from the Holy Bible; “be anxious for nothing?” Phl.4:6-7?

The traditional mindset definition refers to an individual’s way of thinking. But the meaning of mindset may differ from person to person. In decision theory and general systems theory, a mindset is a set of assumptions, methods, or notations held by one or more people or groups of people. A mindset can also be seen as arising out of a person’s world view or philosophy of life. A mindset may be so firmly established that it creates a powerful incentive within these people or groups to continue to adopt or accept prior behaviors, choices, or tools. In the last session, I will help you on how a believer can protect the mindset in Christ Jesus.
