“My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” – James 1:2–4 (KJV)

If we say that a person or something is perfect, it means that the person or thing is without flaw or error. It is a state of completion or fulfilment. God’s perfection, for example, means that He is complete in Himself; He lacks nothing. Jesus Christ desires that every disciple of His would become perfect like the Father (Matthew 5:48).

Beloved, please meditate on the opening scripture, and God will speak to you concerning your challenge. There is no human being on Earth who is devoid of challenges or difficulties. God designed the world that way to train us to take up responsibilities.

As a child of God, create an atmosphere of joy around you by counting your temptations, trials, and tests and giving glory to God. Counting them will give you an idea of the number of blessings that will proceed from them. The temptations, trials, and tests will produce patience in you so that you can wait while they give way to your blessings.

Beloved, keep passing your temptations, trials, and tests so that you can be strong in faith and character, ready for any task in the Kingdom of God. Remember that when we go through tough training, the battles ahead of us become easier. Hallelujah! Be battle ready!

Prayer Point: Dear heavenly Father, thank you for your Word. I refuse to complain but praise instead you for all the challenges I’m going through. Please give me more grace to endure and learn from them, and lead me by your Spirit to win, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
