“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.” – Genesis 1:27 (KJV)
The Most High God was delighted when He created mankind because they are the only creation created in His image. Both male and female are in the image of God, meaning that we were created in the likeness of God (Genesis 1:26). God is a Spirit, so we are also spirits in human bodies (John 4:24).
God has a will, and so do we. He has emotions and put the same in us. In fact, He put a little of all His attributes in us. However, sin, which led to the downfall of mankind, introduced corruption and decay into our lives, but thanks be to Jesus Christ, who has given us power over sin and death (1 Corinthians 15:57). He has also given us authority to live victoriously on this earth.
Dear beloved, whether you are a male or female, be happy and appreciate God for your spirit, soul, and body. Never look down on any aspect of your person. Begin to praise and thank God for the part of your body that you think doesn’t look good, and you will begin to love it—and others will love it as well.
Remember, God doesn’t make a mistake, so never accuse Him for how any part of your body looks. Once you love who you are and appreciate others also for who they are, it will become easy for God to use you to fulfill His will for your life on Earth, to the glory of His name. Hallelujah! God bless you!
Prayer Point: Dear heavenly Father, thank you so much for creating me in your image. I appreciate every aspect of my spirit, soul, and body. Please lead me to use your Word to keep every aspect of my spirit, soul, and body lively, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
