“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” – 1 Peter 1:23 (KJV)

There are many seeds in this world: tomato seeds, pepper seeds, mango seeds, etc. The potency of a plant or tree lies in the viability of their seed.

It shouldn’t be surprising that Jesus Christ should curse a fig tree due to its unfruitfulness (Mark 11:12–14).

The most viable seed in the universe is the Word of God; it is described as an incorruptible seed. In other words, the Word of God has an infinite power and life to produce what it says.

We are born of the Word of God; thus we are imperishable and need to keep feeding on the Word in order to grow and fulfill our destiny.

Dear beloved, don’t downplay the Word of God. Meditate on it day and night, and observe to do what you have meditated upon. Then your life will be incredible, bringing glory to God. Hallelujah! Be an overcomer!

Prayer Point: Dear heavenly Father, thank you for making your Word available to me. Please lead me by your Spirit to feed and meditate on your Word and obey it to the full, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
