“But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.” 2 Thessalonians 3:13 (KJV)
Christianity is a call to glory and virtue (2 Peter 1:3). This calls for exhibiting good works at all times. It is not something that is easy, but we have been given the grace to continually do good to everyone who comes into contact with us. There are eternal and earthly blessings in doing good. Through doing good, we are able to lay up treasures in heaven (Matthew 6:19–21). On Earth, we become vessels that God can trust and use as channels of blessings to reach others.
Any time we feel weary or tired of doing good, it is an indication that we are closer to greater blessings. It is always the desire of the devil and his demons to rob us of our blessings, so they will try to make us feel tired so that we quit.
Child of God, let doing good be your lifestyle; do it even when you feel tired, and God will trust you for His greater blessings and assignments. Hallelujah! Be an overcomer!
