“Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.” 2 Thessalonians 2:1–2 (KJV)

The second coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is not impossible. There are many scriptures that confirm His second coming, and the opening scripture is one of them. If the Lord Jesus Christ has tarried in His coming, it is because He wants many to come to the knowledge of His salvation (1 Timothy 2:4). He loves mankind so much that He doesn’t want anyone to perish (2 Peter 3:9).

It is clear that hell was made for the devil and his demons as punishment for rebelling against God in heaven (Matthew 25:41). However, any human being who lives in opposition to God and rejects the offer of salvation cannot be accepted in heaven, so their place will ultimately be hell as well. Remember that the Jews who didn’t expect the first coming of Christ couldn’t discern His presence and missed Him.

Dear beloved, do all you can to be saved today so that you can inherit heaven, for Jesus Christ will surely come again. Hallelujah! Be an overcomer!
