“Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk?” – Mark 2:9 (KJV)

Believing what Jesus Christ says makes its application easy. Jesus Christ, when teaching about forgiveness and healing, said forgiving others of their sins is easier than performing healing or miracles in their lives. He was able to prove what He was teaching was true by healing the paralyzed man after forgiving him.

Dear beloved, do you find it easy to forgive? It is true that it is painful when we are offended but taking Jesus Christ at His Word and exercising it relieves us of the pain caused by of our offenders. Any time God forgives us of our sins, healing follows (Psalm 103:3). Thus, without forgiveness, our healing is forfeited.

Beloved, practice makes perfect; therefore, if we keep practicing forgiveness, it will become part of us, and we will find it easy to forgive even if someone sins against us many times (Matthew 18:21–22).

When we forgive others, our hearts are healed from bitterness, pain, high blood pressure, etc. Therefore, let us forgive and be blessed. Hallelujah! Be an overcomer!

Prayer Point: Dear heavenly Father, I appreciate your Word today about forgiveness. I have made up my mind to live a life of forgiveness. Please keep giving me grace to never go back on your Word, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
