“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” – 2 Corinthians 12:9 (KJV)
One of the most wonderful blessings God has given to us is grace. It is His favor because we do not deserve it, yet we have it for the sake of Christ (John 1:17). Grace is also a special ability that gives us favor over others who are not born again.
Apostle Paul was full of the grace of God. However, He wanted to eliminate his infirmity, which he called “a thorn in the flesh” (2 Corinthians 12:7). He prayed three times about it, but God said His grace was sufficient for him.
Dear beloved, do you feel overwhelmed by your challenges? Then ask God for more grace and believe that His grace is sufficient to overcome the challenges.
Remember that God is aware of the challenges, just like He was of Apostle Paul’s infirmity. He is using these challenges to shape and prepare you for the next level and glory. Therefore, praise God during the challenges, and you will feel relief to go through them like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, becoming a testimony for many (Daniel 3:8–30). Hallelujah! Glory to God!
Prayer Point: My loving Father, thank you for the challenges I’m going through right now. I ask for more grace to overcome them, knowing that your grace is sufficient for me. I give you praise. Please give me the right songs to keep praising you till I embrace my miracle, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
