“A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.” – Ezekiel 36:26 (KJV)

The Highest God is dependable. He always knows how to fulfill His Word once it proceeds out of His mouth (Isaiah 55:11). He is always on time.

The prophecy of the prophet Ezekiel in the opening scripture became a reality in the New Testament. It is called the born-again experience.

Anytime a person believes in Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal Savior, he or she is given a new spirit and a heart of flesh.

The regenerated spirit makes it easy for this person to hear the voice of God and fellowship with Him. It is for this reason that God gave us the Holy Spirit.

Dear beloved, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit on mankind is another fulfillment of God’s Word prophesied through the prophet Joel (Joel 2:28–32). Thus, the key to fulfilling all the prophecies and promises concerning us is the Holy Spirit. That is why it is very important to give Him all of our cooperation so that He can lead us into making the right decisions and choices in order to realize the promises.

Beloved, now that you have been given an obedient heart, it should be easy for you to obey God’s Word and serve Him all the days of your life. Hallelujah! God bless you!
