“He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?” – Micah 6:8 (KJV)
The Most High God has a way of relating with His creation. It differs from one creation to the other, and He relates to human beings through fellowship. In fellowship, He communicates with us through words, visions, dreams, events, circumstances, etc. The opening scripture attests that God speaks to mankind, especially His children. He shows us what is good every day and expects us to act on it.
Dear beloved, what is God showing or telling you? Whatever He is showing or telling you is confirmed by the Holy Scriptures. Consequently, He expects us to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with Him.
Beloved, God wants us to ensure fairness in our dealings with people (Psalm 82:1–4). Our love for God should be expressed by loving people and showing them mercy, especially forgiving them their wrongs and giving them a helping hand.
Finally, humility is the only way through which we will be promoted by God; if we do not submit and respect authority, He will never promote us and bring us to a place of authority (James 4:6, 10). If Joseph had not learned to submit, serve, and respect authority, he wouldn’t have been the prime minister in a foreign land (Genesis 41:37–46).
Let us apply the keys in the opening scripture, and God will continually bless us. Hallelujah! Remain blessed!
Prayer Point: My dear heavenly Father, thank you for your undiluted Word. Thank you for giving me grace through your Spirit to act in fairness, love mercy, and walk humbly with you till people begin to testify of your goodness in my life, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
