“A just weight and balance are the Lord’s: all the weights of the bag are his work.” – Proverbs 16:11 (KJV)
As a child of God, you always have the need to access your life to know whether it is balanced or not. You are a spirit, having a soul and living in a body (1 Thessalonians 5:23). These three elements of your being need nourishment from you. The spirit and the soul need the Word of God, prayer, fasting, and fellowship with the Holy Spirit to grow.
The Body needs good food or nutrition to grow healthy. As a believer in Christ Jesus, you have a responsibility to feed your spirit and soul as much as you feed your body—so that you can have a balanced life as a Christian. If your spirit and soul are well fed you will hear the voice of God, overcome temptations, live a prosperous life, and win all your battles. On the other hand, if your body is well-fed while by neglecting your spirit and soul you become spiritually weak, the voice of God becomes far from you, sin becomes a friend, and you frequently lose your battles against the enemy.
Dear beloved, balance your life and keep winning for Christ. Living a balanced life makes you unshakable, always abounding in the work of God (1 Corinthians 15:58). Hallelujah! Glory to the Highest!
Prayer Point: My dear heavenly Father, I am delighted to read Your Word today. I have purposed in my heart to live a balanced life. Please remind me always to feed my spirit, soul, and body equally and daily, to remain victorious in every aspect of my life in Jesus’ name. Amen!
