“Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?” – Matthew 6:30 (KJV)

When a person becomes born again, he or she is expected to grow from faith to faith (1 Peter 2:2). Why should they grow from faith to faith? The opening scripture throws light on it—that person is given little faith to operate with. What he or she needs to do is to keep exercising their faith in the knowledge of God’s Word to get their spiritual needs fulfilled (Matthew 17:20). If they do not continually exercise their faith, their mind will be directed to think of earthly things or things pertaining to the body, such as food, clothes, water, marriage, money, etc.

Beloved, according to Jesus Christ such thoughts and behaviours are indicative of operating at a level of little faith. He wants us to operate at a high level of faith, where we seek first the promotion of God’s Kingdom, and by so doing all other needs of ours will be fulfilled (Matthew 6:33).

Dear beloved, what level of faith are you operating from? Start exercising your faith irrespective of the level you have in seeking the welfare of the Kingdom of God, and God will make sure the food, clothing, money, good career, business, marriage, etc. become your portion. Hallelujah! Be an overcomer!

Prayer Point: Dear Lord Jesus, thank You for opening my eyes to spiritual things in Your Kingdom. As I seek to promote Your Kingdom by giving my energy, time, and other resources to spreading the gospel and ministering to the needs of people, thank You for remembering me as well. Amen!
