What shall we then say to these things? If God [be] for us, who [can be] against us? – Romans 8:31

God is for you. Why do we miss that concept so often? Is it because we are locked into a work based mindset where we feel as though we need to earn the favor of God? Or is it that we have just allowed the enemy to convince us that what we are going through currently is just impossible for us to ever get out of unscathed or uninjured.

You must make up your mind once and for all that despite what you have done or who you have become…God is still for you. He is not against you. He is not hovering over you with a rod of judgment ready to clout you on the head.

When we start with this supposition that God is for us and working on our behalf it changes everything. It changes our perspective toward life and toward ourselves. It gives us confidence to move forward even when we don’t understand how to move forward. It gives us the power to do what we previously thought impossible. It gives you the ability to fight the battle that is looming in front of you right now with the confidence that you will come out victorious on the other side. You need to rest in the fact that God is for you and not against you.

Some of you feel very alone in this moment. You feel as though others have forsaken you and you are left to stand on your own through the worst circumstance your life has ever encountered. But the fact is: you are not alone. God is for you and He is fighting for you. Lean into His power and strength today.

Know that He is more than enough to get you through what you are currently facing in life. Tuck Romans 8:31 into your spirit and stand on it for the rest of your life.

God is for you…so absolutely nothing can be against you!
