“And immediately the spirit driveth him into the wilderness. And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him.” Mark 1:12–13 (KJV)
Being fully prepared for the work of God leads to an outstanding finish. Jesus Christ went through thirty years of preparation before He started His ministry on Earth. He finalized His preparations with forty days of prayer and fasting in the wilderness, where He was tempted by the devil. He came out victorious and fully fit to start His ministry, and He completed His assignment gloriously (John 19:30).
VISION: Dear beloved, if you know the will of God for your life, the next step is to prepare yourself for it. Every assignment needs preparation, and it varies from person to person. What you need to do to prepare for your assignment is to cooperate with the Holy Spirit so that He can lead you. He has all the resources for your preparation. People, facilities, money, trials, etc. to train and equip you for His task. Avail yourself to your spiritual leaders and submit to the Holy Spirit, and He will fully prepare you to complete it gloriously.
Remember that when you are not fully prepared, you can only be a casualty. May you never be a casualty but rather a victorious Christian in Jesus’ name. Hallelujah!
