“Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.” – Ephesians 5:21 (KJV)

Knowing that you need someone else to succeed in life makes you treat people with respect. There is a proverbial saying that the people you meet while going up are the same people you meet when coming down. Thus, it is crucial to love people and treat everyone with respect.

If you sow love and respect in the lives of others, you will reap the same and even more from them (Galatians 6:7–8).

As children of God, our Lord Jesus Christ wants us to submit to one another out of reverence for our heavenly Father. Showing submission to one another in the fear of God enhances relationships, fellowship, service, growth, and development in the Kingdom of God.

Dear beloved, if you want people to treat you well, it must first begin with you. God will cause people to favor you and make themselves available to assist you to achieve your goals and objectives. Hallelujah! Be submissive!

Prayer Point: Dear heavenly Father, thank you for your Word. I have made up my mind today to submit myself to the brethren. Please give me the grace and wisdom to do it well to glorify you in Jesus’ name. Amen!
