“He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” – 1 John 5:12 (KJV)

If anybody is asked the question, “Do you want to have life?” the person would have a dilemma if he or she is not a Christian, the reason being that the natural life is what everyone knows. However, there is another kind of life called eternal life (John 3:16).

This life was introduced to the world by Jesus Christ; He was confident to say that He has come so that we might have life in abundance (John 10:10).

Dear beloved, if you are still not born again or haven’t made Jesus Christ your Lord and personal Savior, then you only have the natural life; you don’t have eternal life.

The opening scripture buttresses this point that those who have Jesus Christ have life (eternal life) and those who don’t have Him have no life. Yes, true life is eternal life, the life of God. This life makes God who He is; He is eternal, having no beginning nor end of days.

Beloved, get this true life by believing and accepting Jesus Christ into your heart, and you will reign with Him even after your physical body dies, because your spirit or soul would be quickened with eternal life to reign with Jesus Christ forever in heaven and during the regeneration on Earth (Mark 10:29–30). Hallelujah! Be aware and be wise!

Prayer Point: Dear heavenly Father, thank you for sacrificing your beloved Son, Jesus Christ, for my sin. I accept Him today as my Lord and personal Savior, and I also desire to help others to do so to enjoy eternal life. Amen!
