“O praise the Lord, all ye nations: praise him, all ye people. For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the Lord endureth forever. Praise ye the Lord.” – Psalms 117:1-2 (KJV)
Fulfilling your responsibility for praising God each day is making God relevant in your life. God is the praise of Israel and, for that matter, the praise of His creation (Deuteronomy 10:21). Due to this nature, He has created the world in such a way that He will be praised 24/7.
The world has been created in such a way that day and night are not the same for every country; some countries lead others in terms of time. In other words, not all countries are in the same time zone. This is to ensure that praise is always lifted unto God (Psalms 34:1).
Dear beloved, do you praise God? How many times do you praise God in a day? The Psalmist is urging us to praise God for His merciful kindness and His Truth. If you are alive today, it is because of His mercy and kindness. His mercy provides forgiveness for our shortcomings, and His kindness ensures that our lives are nourished with daily provisions.
Beloved, His truth directs and protects you as a child of God. Therefore, you have every reason to praise God. Do not deny the LORD of His praise; give it to Him and see what He will do for you. King Jehoshaphat and Judah won the battle against the people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir because they praised God and He fought for them (2 Chronicles 20:1–26). Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
