“He that loveth silver shall not be satisfied with silver; nor he that loveth abundance with increase: this is also vanity.” – Ecclesiastes 5:10 (KJV)

God Almighty has given us all things to enjoy but we have a responsibility to our God. We are responsible to direct our hearts to continually love God and His Word. Due to the influence of the world, some Christians have been lured into loving money more than the things of God (1 John 2:15).

Beloved, the opening scripture wants to sound a word of caution to such ones to refrain from this because the love for money will not bring them any satisfaction but, rather, lead to all manner of evil (1 Timothy 6:10).

Beloved, love God with all your heart, and in due season He will pour His abundance into your life. The love for money has been the root of all manner of evil under the sun: tax evasion, armed robbery, blackmail, corruption, and the like.

Beloved, keep your heart pure for God to use you to bless lives. Remember that the lives you bless today will live to bless others, and our generation will see a tremendous transformation for good. Hallelujah! Glory to the Highest!

Prayer Point: My faithful Father, thank You for Your insightful Word about money and riches in general. I dedicate my whole heart, soul, and body to You. I also dedicate all the material things I have to You. Please give me more grace to continually devote my love to You, and not allow material things to influence me in Jesus’ name. Amen!
