“When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” – Isaiah 43:2 (KJV)
The almighty God is aware of whatever is happening to you as a child of God. If you are praying the right way and it seems that nothing is working, the Lord wants to assure you that He is with you. He says it is a training process He has designed for you. He has given you His Word that though it may seem like water, it shall not overflow you, and like fire, but it shall not burn you.
Beloved, do not quit yet; draw inspiration from the opening scripture and encourage yourself to move on. Read Hebrews chapter 11 and see how the patriarchs held on to their faith until they received their reward and victory. Your reward and victory are coming; do not give up. You are an overcomer.
Jesus Christ saw the joy of the cross and despised the shame, so He was able to endure suffering and subsequent death on the cross (Hebrews 12:2). No wonder God has highly exalted Him that at the mention of His name all knees must bow, and every tongue must confess that He is Lord (Philippians 2:9–11).
Beloved, keep your gaze on Jesus Christ, and your challenges will be turned into miracles for your enjoyment. Hallelujah! You are an overcomer!
Prayer Point: My loving and Faithful Father, I am so excited about Your words of assurance. Indeed, you are with me throughout all life’s challenges and difficulties. Thank You for giving me the grace to go through them and turning them into miracles for my enjoyment in Jesus’ name. Amen!
