“And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry; Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.” 1 Timothy 1:12–13 (KJV)
Faithfulness is a virtue that God likes to see in His children. He wants to be around those who will be loyal to Him forever. The test of faithfulness can be seen throughout the Bible. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, David, and Jesus Christ were tested and rewarded for their faithfulness. Likewise, Apostle Paul was found to be faithful with the assignment God gave him. He went through shipwreck and was stoned, beaten, whipped, etc., yet he never gave up on preaching the gospel (2 Corinthians 11:23–27).
Dear beloved, are you faithful with the assignment God has given you? Learn from Apostle Paul, and continue to be faithful in the midst of your challenges; then God will reward you in the end if you don’t give up. Hallelujah! Be an overcomer!
Prayer Point: Dear heavenly Father, please give me more grace to remain faithful to you forever. Amen!
Heavenly father I pray for the grace to always remain faithful. Amen
