“O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires.” – Isaiah 54:11 (KJV)

The children of God should read the opening Scripture with understanding and take solace in it. It is time for believers in Christ Jesus to take comfort in the Word of God; this is not the time to wait for someone to comfort or exhort you.

If you are afflicted as a child of God in any area of your life, rest assured that God is preparing to comfort you by first delivering you from your affliction (2 Corinthians 1:3–5).

Secondly, He will beautify your body with a glory you have never seen before. Finally, He will lay a solid foundation for you with a precious mineral called sapphires; therefore, you will be built such that you will have the power to overcome subsequent affliction, that you may not even feel it when it comes your way.

People who see you will testify that of a truth you are serving a living God. You will even become the envy of your family and people in your sphere of contact. Hallelujah!

Dear beloved, are you going through afflictions? Remember to put to work the Word of God, which says that praying fervently in times of affliction produces deliverance (James 5:13). Additionally, be steadfast in the Holy Scriptures and the work of the ministry, and patiently wait for God to beautify your life with colorful stones and sapphires. Hallelujah! God bless you!

Prayer Point: Dear Father of all comfort, you are the guarantee of my comfort. Thank You for the Word of assurance that You will comfort me, and beautify me, and lay a strong foundation of sapphires for me after all my afflictions.
