“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” 1 Peter 5:7 (KJV)

Knowing that someone cares about you brings comfort to your soul. Human beings were created to care for one another (Genesis 2:23). However, when sin entered the human race, this caring virtue was altered.

Human beings have now become more self-centered than selfless. Thanks be to God that He has never changed. He is still loving, kind, and caring (1 John 4:8).

Dear beloved, how many cares or needs do you have? Your needs could be as many as you could list, but God is able to handle them. God doesn’t want you to carry any of your needs because it can take away your joy, making you worry.

Because He cares for His children, He wants you to cast or lay aside all your anxieties or needs on Him in prayer. Beloved, pray a simple prayer of faith, laying all your cares, worries, or needs before Him to receive His joy. Keep rejoicing and praising Him while you wait, and He will surely supply.

Remember that as long as you have the right motive for your request, He will do more than you can imagine or think according to His power that is working inside of you (Ephesians 3:20). Hallelujah! Keep loving people!

Prayer Point: Dear heavenly Father, I’m grateful to hear that you care so much about me. I cast all my cares, both spiritual and physical needs, on you and receive your joy to wait for your supply, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
