“Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.” – Psalms 127:1 (KJV)

Learning to do everything alone, and disregarding the input of God, is an exhibition of pride. There are principles in the kingdom of God; one such principle is to give God all the glory He deserves. Due to this, the children of God are expected to trust God for everything they put their hands to; the LORD is the builder of all things. He wants to build your life, career, family, community, and the nation. He also wants to watch them and keep them safe.

As a child of God, if you want to do it alone without the blessings of God, it will not work. God will see it as having no regard for Him and wanting to take the praise and glory due unto His name. The constructing of the tower of Babel was brought to a standstill because the people never sought the approval of God, thus they were embarking on a project contrary to the Word of God (Genesis 11:1–8)).

As a child of God, acknowledge the LORD in everything you plan to do (Proverbs 3:6). He holds the key to knowledge and wisdom for life and the successful completion of any endeavor. Consult Him through His Word and fellowship with the Holy Spirit; depend on Him and you shall see the successful completion of every good agenda or plan of yours. Hallelujah! God bless you!

Prayer Point: My faithful Father, I’m so grateful to hear that You want to build my life and keep watch over everything that I possess. I dedicate my life and everything I have, including my plans, to You. Please lead and guide me to work with You to see all the plans You have for me come to fruition, for many to enjoy in Jesus’ name. Amen!
