“That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” – John 3:6 (KJV)

It is necessary for the children of God to know who they are in the kingdom of God. Knowing who you are in the kingdom of God is the beginning of your victorious Christian living. When Nicodemus met Jesus Christ, he was informed about the need to be born again. He was also informed about the nature of the child of God. All mankind is born after the flesh but not all mankind is born after the Spirit of God.

Beloved, God wants to live in the human body, but for Him to do so, He must, first, recreate your spirit through the new birth so that you can receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Remember that He promised that a day was coming where He will live in human beings and walk among them (Ezekiel 37:26–27). This promise was fulfilled in Jesus Christ of Nazareth. No wonder He promised the disciples that He was coming again to live in them (John 14:17–18). This is the gospel Jesus Christ came to preach. This new birth comes when you receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Savior. He is the key to the new birth because He sacrificed His life on the cross for the sin of mankind. Therefore, if you are born again you become a child of God and you get access to all the privileges of God.

Beloved, if you are born again, you are born after God’s kind, so never allow the flesh or the will of man to dominate you (John 1:12–13). You are in charge, so begin to take dominion over nature and all the elements of this world. Hallelujah! You are an overcomer!

Prayer Point: Dear heavenly Father, thank You for giving birth to me. Now I can call myself a child of God and a born-again Christian. I use this nature of mine and all the resources You have given to me to please You; to win more souls for You and teach them how to triumph in Jesus’ name. Amen!
