“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.” – Galatians 5:22–23 (KJV)
Fruit is the most beautiful part of a plant or tree. In fact, it is the portion that gives the plant or tree its name. Likewise, as children of God, the fruit we bear shows the kind of spirit that lives in us. If we bear the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, it shows that the Holy Spirit lives in us. It is important to add that it takes time to start bearing the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 4:4). When you cooperate with the Holy Spirit and allow Him to lead you through the Word of God, it becomes easy to bear the fruit of the Spirit.
Friend, remember that He will use people, events, circumstances, difficulties, or challenges to bear the fruit in you. Therefore, don’t complain but instead cease every opportunity to exhibit the qualities of the Holy Spirit in you and bear the fruit of the Spirit. People will begin to enjoy your company and the peaceful and joyful atmosphere that you create. Hallelujah! Be fruitful!
Prayer Point: Dear Holy Spirit, please lead and guide me to bear your fruit. Amen!
